After School Learning Program:
The After School Learning program is designed
to help students that have leaning disabilities. The
After School Learning Program is staffed with paid certified
teachers who have been hand picked by their principle.
Children in this program must be referred by a teacher,
parent or administrator. Each child is tested at the
beginning of enrollment and a reachable goal establish
for that child. The Program teaches reading, writing
and oral skills that will increase proficiency, especially
to students who are in need of additional help and are
not able to access this type of program due to economics.
The students targeted for this program are low-income
youth, who have demonstrated low academic skills. These
students frequently need assistance with homework because
many of their parents are not involved with their studies
due to the tremendous work schedule and economic strain
on their family. Students will have the opportunity
to play a wide variety of sports after they have completed
their homework. Teachers are be closely monitored to
make sure that each child’s reaches their full
potential while providing the necessary support to make
sure the child will be successful. Failure is not an
option, which is why each teacher is given an incentive
plan to stay motivated to teach, teach, teach!
